I’ve been back on the East Coast for about two weeks and I’m FREEZING. It’s gray, dreary and can you believe it’s almost May? I HATE THIS WEATHER. My tropical DNA loves hot, humid, shin sweating weather.

I hate you. Stop smiling! You are not having fun, we all know that.

I arrived in New York City in April wearing flip flops and quickly remembered that the city is freezing until about June. My frozen toes sought out wool socks immediately. Mother Nature must have been tired of hearing me complain because a week later we were blessed with a few 70-degree days. Of course, it didn’t last, but I took advantage of the short spurt of sunshine. An outdoor workout was in order.

When a beautiful spring day catapults you out of your long winter hibernation, try this 30 minute (or less) outdoor workout. This workout will get you ready for summer. It’s challenging, but easy enough that you can do it multiple times a week and build that beach bod in no time. Work hard, push yourself and you can scorch about 500 calories. Enjoy the sun, spring and the promise of bikini weather.
